Barbara Mazza is Associate Professor (Roma, Italy) in the Department of Communication and Social Research of the Sapienza University of Rome, where teaches Communication for Business Management and Event Management and Communication. Since 1997, she is scientific director of Unimonitor.com. Observatory of training and work in the field of communication and, since 2004, scientific director of Scienze.com, Observatory of the National Conference of the Departments and degree programs in Communication Sciences. She is the local coordinator of several research projects at national and international level, and a member of IRNIST, International Research Network in Sport Tourism. Her main research interests concern the Business Communication, Sport communication and Innovative teaching in the universities. Institutional positions: President of the CdLM in Organization and Marketing for Business Communication, Director of the CMES Master (Communication and Management of Sports Events), Head of Communication for the Sapienza, SapienzaSport Sports Services Center and member of the Steering Committee, member of the University commission.
